How the name came to be…………………..

As many of you know Marcus comes from the Isle of Man (not Skåne or Denmark) and used to work in a Health food shop called Julian Graves. The Isle of Man is famous for many things including low tax, which is why many film companies choose to film their movies and TV productions there.One day, while taking a break from filming “The Walker” in Douglas, the lead actor in the production, Woody Harrelson, came into the shop. He looked around and bought some things, but the thing I remember is that he picked up a packet of dried fruit that was on the shelf and said; “Mango Chunks, that would be a good name for a band”

And so it came to pass, that I recalled what he said a few years later and told the story to the band. We all decided that it was a great name for our new band and it was set in stone
